Also, in one of his books, he gives a list of influential people or something and he mentions some rather controversial figures, its as if he just doesn't get it. Anyway, but that's really beside the point.....
Finally, I read the governor's release statement and they have a rather strong case against TW. I am just glad that I do not have to decide the fate of someone's life, that's a tough call.

Pete, I totally agree with you about this Tookie Williams to execute to not execute dilemma. The thing that bothered me the most was the fact that mainly celebrities and "influential" black figures supported a criminal. Simply because he said he was sorry that makes everything ok? In my opinion it was a waste of time and the governor made a good decision, I'd rather the tax money of my parents, family, friends and myself go towards something more productive in society than keeping a criminal alive.
